Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department wraps up Fire Prevention Week with open house.

Firefighter Dave Regeling and junior firefighter Ally Stygar showed children how to handle a fire hose during the Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department's open house on Oct. 11.

Under Stygar's guidance, the children used the hose to try to 'knock down' a facsimile fire.
